Mackenzy Grant
Chapter Founder & President

Mackenzy Grant is the founding Chapter President of the North Carolina Chapter A&T State University Chapter of The Accountability Initiative. She is the second longest member of TAI since its founding. She is a junior political science major and criminal justice minor with aspirations of becoming an attorney in the future. During her time as President, she has led several community service initiatives, and has taken steps to form meaningful connections with TAI and local schools in the area.

Jabria Williams
Vice President

Jabria Williams is Junior Public Relations major and English minor at North Carolina A&T State University. She served as the chapter’s Events Coordinator and later Vice President. She has led the curation of several community service events both on behalf of TAI, and other campus organizations that she is involved in. In the future, Jabria hopes to work with different brands to amplify their voices and impact.

Nia Reese
Secretary

Nia Reese is a sophomore honors Psychology major with a desire of becoming a clinical psychologist and opening her own practice in the future. She is passionate about advocating for mental health resources in communities and anti-gun violence advocacy. She is also passionate about mentoring younger students, and guiding them on their journey of choosing a college..

Maya Stewart
Treasurer

Maya Stewart is an honors sophomore bioengineering student at North Carolina A&T State University. She is interested in entering the biomedical engineering field in the future. She joined TAI to develop her mentorship and advocacy skills. She has a passion for being there for the youth and showing up for them authentically. 

Joshua Tidwell
Events Coordinator

Joshua is a sophomore honors accounting student with future aspirations of being a tax attorney, and starting a nonprofit dedicated to helping underserved communities understand the value of financial literacy. He desires to help low income and underserved communities, as inspired by his grandmother who grew up poor in the Jim Crow south. He joined TAI to be more active in the community both in and outside of A&T, understanding that his college experience should go beyond events on campus.

Savannah Williams
Co-Social Media Chair

Savannah Williams is a biomedical engineering major. In the future, she hopes to either conduct research or work as an engineer in the medical device industry. She joined TAI to help expand access to education in underserved communities and ensure that children have the chance to learn and express themselves through supporting STEM programs, volunteering, and much more.

Talia Santos
Co-Social Media Chair

Talia Santos is a Business Management & Criminal Justice Major. She hopes to be an Estate Planning Lawyer in the future. She is passionate about education reform and supporting underprivileged kids in public schools and other community settings.
